Week 9 (Monday 3/14/22)

Professor Notash discussed some small modifications for the design phase timeline. For the next meeting he requested for progress on the proposal report and update of the FDOT request to test on the selected proposed roads.
Week 7&8 (Monday 2/28/22, 2-hour meeting)
This week we presented finished tables for the requirements and criteria of the project.

Professor Notash discussed some small modifications that needed to be updated onto the DER and Success Criteria. We discussed the DES in detail with modifications that needed to be made along with adding the exact parts and pictures of the object that will be apart of the project. He requested that we have the proposed timeline for the Design semester for the next meeting as well as a rendering of the project. We agreed to make the website live on the following meeting after spring break.
Week 6 (Monday 2/21/22, 1.45-hour meeting)
Presented the Roadway Monitoring System has the name of the project. We presented professor Notash with the proposed DER and DES for the project. We also showed him the timeline and cost budget as well as a proposed testing site. Professor Notash gave us feedback about the proposed information and gave us the task of providing more information and descriptive outputs for the next meeting.
Week 5 (Monday 2/14/22, 1-hour meeting)
Presented three ideas to professor Notash with the adjustments in mind that we made after the meetings with each panelist. After consideration of all the feedback the previous week we decided to go with the project that both panelists were positive about. Professor Notash requested more information regarding the timeline along with the DER and DES of the project for the next meeting.
Week 4 (Saturday 2/5/22, 1.5-hour meeting)
Presented the three ideas we narrowed it down to from the previous week. Provided in-depth block diagrams and flowcharts as well as DER and DES. Professor Notash gave us the task to present the three ideas to two different panelists to gain some feedback on the direction we should go and some adjustments that could be made on our current ideas.
Week 3 (Monday 1/24/22, 2-hour meeting)
Presented six ideas to Professor Notash for senior design proposal. The six ideas were: Trigger lock, Highway speeding posts, Target-guided Quadcopters, visually impaired glasses assistant, wireless powered transfer system, home electric power distribution system.
Week 2 (Thursday 1/20/22, 1-hour meeting)
Presented four ideas to Professor Notash for senior design proposal. The four ideas presented were: Trigger lock, Power Factor Readers, Highway speeding posts, and Target-guided Quadcopters. Professor Notash gave feedback on each project and requested we dig deeper into the ideas we have along with adding a few extra ideas for the next meeting.
Week 1 (Friday 1/14/22, 3-hour meeting)
First meeting went over the entire course as well as expectations for the class. Professor Notash showed examples of previous semester projects and gave us the task of coming up with proposal ideas for the next meeting.
